I have been to Philadelphia and had their world famous Cheese-Steak sandwich. It was deliscious. Well worth the seven or eight dollars. It's a fairly simple concept of a meal. A bun. Thinly sliced steak. Onions. All topped with a generous portion of Whiz. Cheese Whiz, of course.
This all makes for one completely unhealthy but amazingly good sandwich.
But recently, the Cheese-Steak sandwich has gone highbrow. Steak, topped with lobster, topped with truffles, topped with VERY expensive cheese…
What does one expect to pay for such a delicacy of a sandwich?

* A $100 cheesesteak ? If you've had it, be ashamed. For my money -- and tastebuds -- best cheesesteak is still right outside of Philly, at a shop called Bella Italia in Ardmore, PA.
