Yeah baby! I know it's long overdue. But it looks like the iPhone is heading to Manila. Engadget cited this report from Reuters , announcing the launch of the iPhone in Asia. Singtel snagged the distribution rights in Singapore and hence it will also be bringing the iPhone to India via its Bharti Group, Optus for Australia, and yes GLOBE Telecom for the Philippines. …CONTINUE READING =>

Vodafone's also distributing the iPhone in India and Australia though, so we'll have to wait until later this year to find out who gets to shoot first.

Nobody might ever want a propietary 3skypephone again (remains to be seen), when this Iphone get's properly marketed in South-East Asia. And we are not even talking about the popularization of the google android phone yet. And now read the article. Tip from John in the Phils.
