Judge David Niehaus, of Butler County, Ohio, has sentenced Brian Gegner to six months in jail because his 18-year-old daughter failed to pass the math portion of her GED test.
The article says the state may let him see his daughter and granddaughter again once his daughter passes the state's math test. Of course, he'll likely be jobless by then...

A judge ordered the father to stay on top of his daughter's education months ago and when that order wasn't followed, Brian Gegner was sentenced to 180-days in the Butler County jail.
The daughter, Brittany Gegner, says her father shouldn't be punished for her problems.
Especially, she says because she's now 18, an adult.

A graduating New York University student was ejected from his commencement at Yankee Stadium yesterday after he was caught trying to steal home.
William Lopez, 21, of Manhasset, LI, was among 6,000 students who sat in the box seats behind home plate and along the first base and third base lines at the first graduation to take place at the House that Ruth Built.
NYU, which held its 176th commencement at the storied stadium because of construction at Washington Square Park, had a strict ground rule.
