As a child, I was completely enthralled with my Nintendo, and, like most kids I always had to have the latest and greatest systems and games. Time passed, adulthood happened , and my gaming systems were moved to the far corner of my closet, where they spent the better part of the last decade collecting dust. Recently, however, I've felt a real urge to buy the Nintendo Wii, after hearing such wonderful things about it from my friends and family. My boyfriend and I have even tried to purchase it several times at local stores in our town, but it has been consistently sold out, which is very frustrating!

My sister complains that shopping is a very tiring activity. I am thinking the same actually. On Thursday I met with my doctor to discuss having an outpatient surgical procedure. In advance of the surgery she wanted me to have some routine testing done. One thing she commented on a couple of time was just how low my cholesterol levels were. She asked if I "had a really good diet"? For the most part my diet is pretty low in fat. Another factor I think may be helping is the fact that for quite a long time I have been taking the diet drug Alli. I haven't taken it consistently but rather I tend to take it for a couple months and then I stop.

It occurred to me today that I haven't left the house in 3 days. This isn't because I can't but simply because I choose not to do so.
