So I take it we can agree now that 2025 is not the magic number ?
Everything we're hearing is that a deal over Florida and Michigan could be cut in the next few days. . . . The hurdle isn't Clinton and Obama anymore, though; it is folks in the DNC who believe those two recalcitrant states still need to be punished in some form . . . [I]t's clear to us that DNC types want some flesh on this issue. Many hate the idea of Florida and Michigan getting full delegations . . .
Does anyone in the DNC want to win in November?

We all like to slice and dice the electorate, and sometimes the politicians themselves get in on the act.
It was such a moment that got Barack Obama in trouble last month when he explained to San Francisco donors his difficulty in reaching small town Pennsylvania voters who, he felt, had lost faith in Washington's ability to solve their economic problems and so "cling to religion, and guns" and other facets of life that seem more familiar and comfortable.

Who would have believed at the start of all this, it would end with Democrats despising the Clinton's more than the Right?
So, what's the plan? Is something telling her she actually has a shot with the "He can't win" argument? Or does she simply want to bruise him up as badly as possible so he loses and she gets another shot in 2012?

I think what we're seeing here is a real racial divide. It was engineered, deliberately, by Obama's campaign in order to separate African Americans from the Clintons. It has worked spectacularly well. Obama consistently wins urban and southern AA voters, by lopsided margins. It didn't have to be this way. There was no reason for the African-American community to spurn Clinton. But in this America, in 2008, color is everything. It seems like the civil rights movement of the 60's was just a dream.
