From foolish rhetoric about "price gouging", class warfare, and protectionism, Huck frequently sounds more like a Democrat. And he certainly has strong enough support in many Protestant circle to possibly split the vote and give the nomination to pro-abortion Rudy Giuliani. He also gets the far-left Mother Jones crowd excited.

The money line, in terms of geo-political interests, may be: "Any Republican who does not sound much like a Republican is bound to get friendly press, as Sen. John McCain did in 2000." This helps illustrate exactly why Huckabee is receiving the fawning of the mainstream media that he is: he divides conservative interests and in the end would be an easy candidate to topple by a liberal opponent.

Single numbers here in Rochester last night. THe kind of weather that gives brass simian statuettes their status of legend. the Wasn't much warmer most of the day. As David already noted,and as a result of the weather, we had a 36 car pileup on I-390 perhaps 5 miles south of here… a stretch I drive on daily.
